Terms of service
Last updated: 2 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Kalpesh Mishra, a sole proprietor operating QRStitch, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (“QRStitch”, “we”, “us”). By using qrstitch.com and its services, you agree to them. If you use QRStitch for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
QRStitch offers:
- Free tools that anyone can use without an account: the static QR code generator, barcode generator, bulk generator and QR code scanner. They run in your browser.
- Accounts with dynamic QR codes (codes whose destination you can change after printing), hosted pages, scan statistics, templates and other features that depend on your plan.
We improve QRStitch all the time, so features may change. We won’t remove a feature you pay for during your current billing period without giving you a fair alternative or a refund for the unused time.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for activity in your account, and you should tell us immediately at hello@qrstitch.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
- One person or organisation may not use multiple free accounts to get around plan limits.
3. Free and paid plans
Plans, prices and limits are shown on the pricing page. Static QR codes are free forever, with no watermark. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
Payments are processed by our payment partner, which acts as the merchant of record and handles sales tax, VAT and GST. Prices may change; we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before a new price applies to your subscription.
Refunds: if QRStitch isn’t right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. After that, you can cancel at any time and your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
4. Dynamic QR codes and our “never die” promise
We know you print codes on menus, packaging and signs that last for years. So:
- Cancelling or downgrading never switches off a printed code. If you cancel, your dynamic codes keep redirecting to their last destination. You just can’t edit codes above your plan’s limit until you upgrade again (we call these codes “frozen”). When you downgrade, you choose which codes stay editable.
- Short links are never reused. A deleted code’s link is never given to anyone else.
- Custom domains apply to new codes only. Adding one never changes the link inside codes you’ve already printed.
The only exceptions are codes that break the acceptable use policy, codes you delete yourself, and legal requirements. If we ever decide to close QRStitch, we’ll give at least 90 days’ notice and let you export all your codes and destinations.
5. Your content
You own the content you add to QRStitch: destinations, text, files, logos and designs. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, display and process that content only to run the service for you, for example to host your PDF and show it to people who scan your code.
You’re responsible for your content and for having the rights to use it, including logos and images. Make sure the destinations of your codes are lawful and safe.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our acceptable use policy. In short: no phishing, malware, scams, illegal goods, hate, harassment or content that exploits children. We check destinations for safety and may pause or block codes that put people at risk.
7. Our intellectual property
QRStitch, its logo, website, software and designs belong to us or our licensors. The QR codes you create are yours to use for any lawful purpose, commercial or personal, without credit. “QR Code” is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
8. Third-party services
QRStitch works with services from other companies, such as Google sign-in, analytics tools you connect, payment apps opened by UPI codes, and the apps that QR codes open. Their own terms apply, and we’re not responsible for them.
9. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep QRStitch fast and reliable, and redirects run on a global network designed for high availability. But we can’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may need planned maintenance. Paid plans may include a separate service level commitment where stated on the pricing page.
10. Disclaimer
Apart from the promises in these terms, the service is provided “as is”. Always test a QR code with a phone before printing it. We’re not liable for printing costs caused by codes that weren’t tested, content that was entered incorrectly, or destinations you control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or reputational harm. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or ₹5,000 (or its equivalent in your currency). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.
13. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, that are used for fraud or abuse, or when the law requires it. Where it’s safe and lawful, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, India have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers can also bring claims in the courts where they live if their local law allows it. Before going to court, please contact us: most problems can be solved with an email.
15. Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we’ll update the date above and email account holders at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you don’t agree, you can close your account before then.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms: hello@qrstitch.com. Complaints can also go to our Grievance Officer, whose details are in the privacy policy.
